I love fermenting! I’ve been making coconut kefir for awhile now, and while I haven’t quite perfected it, I’m getting there. This little treasure has only 3 ingredients and can be eaten morning, noon or night!
If you don’t have any kefir, get creative and use youghurt, coconut milk or your most favourate milk. The thinner the liquid, the more chia you’ll need, so trust your gut and have a play with this one.
1/2 cup coconut kefir or yoghurt
1tbsp chia seeds
dried kafir lime leaves (I used 2 - 1 crumbled and the other for decoration)
Mix chia with kefir and leave to set in fridge for 10 - 20 minutes.
Crumble one dried lime leaf finely and add to kefir.
