Given the tests I’m currently undergoing, it’s highly likely I’m going to need a traditional medical intervention to deal with bone damage and to stop my immune system attacking itself. My plan is as of last Tuesday, I’m going to eat or drink something fermented every day for 100 days. I’ve set up a tag on Instagram #100daysFermentedFood as of today, which will take me 20 August 2014. I don’t plan on stopping eating/drinking fermented goodies then, I just want to create a new norm in my lifestyle where I become even more conscious of loving and supporting my entire body on every level.
I’ve been making Kombucha for 5 years and more recently expanded my repetoire into kefir and fermented vegetables. This blog is kinda like my food diary to a) help me remember some of the amazing concoctions I come up with, and b) to keep me accountable. I’m always happy to share recipes and get feedback, updates or new insights to other good foods/drinks that support good gut health and a strong immune system, so please feel free to contribute here.
